Labor Doula Services
Labor doulas provide non-medical physical and emotional support as well as education to pregnant and birthing persons.
I offer comfort measures, encourage hydration and nutrition, and help the birthing person know/understand their options during the birthing process. I do not make decisions for the family, but instead explain things so they can make choices that are best for them.
My goal is to bring a calm, safe, empowering, and joyfilled presence to the birth space.
I support laboring moms in their home, at birth centers, and hospitals. I do not support nor attend “unassisted” births, as I am not a midwife or doctor and have no medical license.
My package includes:
1-2 prenatal visits (1 hour each)
Unlimited phone/text support during pregnancy
Phone support during early labor
Hands-on support in active labor through delivery
1-3 hours of immediate postpartum support following the birth to ensure bonding and breastfeeding are off to a good start
1 follow up visit after the birth, if requested, to review the birth and answer any questions.
Fee for service: $3,000
I am also a Medi-Cal approved provider.
Lactation Consultations
As an IBCLC (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant), I provide expert, personalized breastfeeding and lactation support, helping parents with latch, positioning, milk supply issues, pain, pumping, returning to work, weaning, starting solids, and complex situations like twins or premature infants, working with families to meet their specific feeding goals.
I offer clinical care, education, and advocacy in various settings, from hospitals to homes, acting as a key maternal-child health team member.
Key Roles & Services
Evaluate feeding sessions, check for proper latch and milk transfer, and address issues like mastitis, plugged ducts, or pain.
Develop customized plans for feeding, pumping, storage, and returning to work, ensuring support aligns with family goals.
Teach parents about milk production, baby cues, and lactation physiology, and teach prenatal breastfeeding classes.
Assist with breastfeeding twins, preemies, multiples, or babies with medical conditions like tongue ties or cleft palate.
Offer prenatal counseling on factors affecting breastfeeding and help prevent common problems before they start.
Connect families with other healthcare professionals (pediatricians, speech therapists, pediatric dentists) and community resources when needed.
I am not currently in network with any insurance providers, so all support is cash-pay only.
Initial visit (90 minutes) is $225
Follow up visits (60 minutes) is $150

Postpartum Doula Services
Postpartum doulas provide non-medical physical and emotional support as well as education to new parents.
As a postpartum doula, I am your “tour guide” through the postpartum period. I like to say that I am the training manual you didn’t receive in the hospital.
I will make sure you are well-hydrated, fed, know all the basics of baby care (how to sponge bathe your newborn; calming/soothing techniques; safe sleeping practices; umbilical stump care; how to change baby’s diaper; what normal newborn sleep looks like; how your emotions will shift; etc. I will also help you practice self-care by looking after baby while you’re showering or napping. I also provide local resources so you’ll know how to get additional support, when needed.
My goal is not to take over complete care of your newborn, but instead foster bonding and build confidence so that you feel secure in caring for your baby on your own.
My rate for service starts at $60 per hour.
Breastfeeding Intensive for Expecting Parents
Breastfeeding/Human Feeding is recommended for at least the first year of life due to the superior benefits of human milk on both the newborn/infant and the mother/birthing person.
